The Grille at Maderas Golf Club has become a destination for golfers, business, family and fun celebrations in San Diego. While informal, there is elegance and charm rarely found and much desired. The San Diego golf course views are breathtaking and the accommodations, whether inside or from the patio provide the feeling of being quite distant from the everyday hustle and bustle.

The menu, a creation by the club’s award-winning chef Earl Schryver, has been designed to please every palate. Beautifully landscaped & designed to complement our prestigious golf course, the clubhouse Grille features high ceilings and expansive windows allowing you to enjoy the surrounding countryside.

The Grille is available for private intimate dinners up to 110 guests. Both receptions and dinners have the option to overflow onto the terrace and patio for food stations and outdoor seating.

The food in The Grille at Maderas is prepared by an honest-to-goodness chef, and it's head-and-shoulders above the usual golf course bar food. You won't find any $6 burgers here, true-but the food is legitimately at the level of a nice restaurant destination. Wait staff is superlative too... Not a bad place to end up your round of golf.

The food is always consistently wonderful and creative, the service over the top and the view is stunning. They have an expansive wine list and the best-handcrafted cocktails. We have a group of 10 whom frequent Chief Earls themed wine dinners, which is always a huge treat.

I have been going to the Grille for about 10 years. The second and fourth Weds nights are special as they Wine nights with free samplings of wine which vary as to location and types of wine. You also may purchase bottles of the wines you like at a discount.

The food is wonderful with a great chief. You cannot go wrong with a selection. There is a set menu but specials are added for each of the two Weds. Go there and you will not be sorry.
